Market Research Interview - Psychology And Market Research

A thought...

This latest edition of Market Research Conversations is with Cathy Bakewell. In this audio podcast Paul and Cathy discuss how psychology affects market research. Cathy studied for her first degree in psychology at Manchester University and carried out her Masters at UMIST. This understanding of what makes people tick helped her on to the marketing ladder working firstly in the advertising department at the Guardian Newspaper group. Since becoming a full time academic, Cathy has researched many aspects of buying behaviour including how men make buying decisions. As if this is not enough, Cathy is skilled in Latin American dance and won fifth place in the British National Latin American championships last year. Wow! The interview was carried out by Paul Hague, Managing Director of B2B International. Paul has been working in Market Research some 38 years, 34 of those years actually running Market Research agencies.
